Sunday Services at Greater Community First Baptist Church

Every Sunday at Greater Community First Baptist Church is an opportunity to worship, grow, and connect with one another in faith. Our services are designed to celebrate God’s presence, deepen our spiritual journey, and strengthen our community.

1st Sunday – Communion & Baptism Sunday

The first Sunday of each month is dedicated to Holy Communion and Baptism, where we come together to remember the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Baptism services are held for new believers taking their next step in faith.

2nd Sunday – Youth Sunday

On the second Sunday, our youth lead the service, serving in various roles such as scripture reading, worship leading, and ushering. This is a special time to encourage and empower our young people as they grow in faith and leadership.

3rd Sunday – Young Adult Sunday

The third Sunday is Young Adult Sunday, where young adults actively participate in the worship service, bringing fresh perspectives and energy to the church. This service is focused on encouraging spiritual growth among young believers and engaging the next generation in ministry.

4th Sunday – Men's & Women's Ministry Sunday

The fourth Sunday highlights Men’s and Women’s Ministry, where different groups take turns leading the service. These Sundays provide an opportunity to hear inspiring testimonies, teachings, and encouragement from men and women of faith.

5th Sunday – Women’s Sunday

When a month has five Sundays, the fifth Sunday is Women’s Sunday, where the women of the church lead in worship, prayer, and the message. This is a powerful service where women’s voices are uplifted as they share their faith and spiritual journey.

Join us for worship and fellowship at Greater Community First Baptist Church!

  • Sunday Worship Service – 10:30 AM
  • Sunday School – 9:30 AM

  • Prayer Service – 9:00 AM

  • Bible Study & Small Groups – Wednesdays at 7:00 PM

Meet Our Pastor – LaCedric Williams

A Message from Pastor Williams:

"My prayer and deepest desire is that when you step through the doors of our church, you encounter the transformative love of Jesus Christ. No matter your background or journey, you are welcome here. I pray that through worship, the Word, and fellowship, you experience God’s grace, find purpose, and grow in faith. Greater Community First Baptist Church is more than just a place of worship—it is a family where lives are changed, and we walk together in faith."

Pastor Williams has been faithfully leading our congregation with a heart for discipleship, community outreach, and biblical teaching. Under his leadership, the church continues to grow in faith, service, and impact.
